Rand joined Centennial Ventures in 1999 as an associate in the Denver office. Previously, he was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in Atlanta, Georgia and Sao Paulo, Brazil and served clients across multiple industries with an emphasis in telecommunications. He was also a software engineer with US WEST. Rand earned his Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado, and his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University.
