Chris Wand is currently a Principal at Mobius Venture Capital, a leading information technology venture capital firm. He is responsible for all aspects of the venture capital process, including evaluating potential investment opportunities, making the investments, and managing and advising portfolio companies after an investment is made.

Prior to joining Mobius, Chris worked with MessageMedia as Director of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development. At MessageMedia, he was involved with the company's original business formation, private equity fund raising, initial public offering, and turn-around strategy and led the company’s acquisition roll-up strategy. Chris has also served as an Associate with LEK Consulting, an international strategy and mergers & acquisitions consulting firm.

Chris received Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. Chris serves on the board of directors of Mobius portfolio companies Oxlo Systems, Return Path, StartSampling and Stratify. Chris also serves on the boards of the Colorado Venture Capital Association, the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado and the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art.
