Principals: Office Managing Partner, Ron BrownRonald "Ron" J. Brown is Managing Partner and founder of Heidrick & Struggles' Denver office. Ron specializes in senior executive-level search assignments within the technology and communications industries, particularly with venture-backed, growth-stage companies. Ron has conducted a wide variety of search assignments for CEOs, COOs, board members, and functional specialists in the technology space, as well as CIO and CTO assignments for non-technology companies. Additionally, he has conducted numerous global searches both for international clients and for internationally based positions. Ron joined Heidrick & Struggles in 1996 in its northern Virginia office, the firm's East Coast technology hub. While there, Ron was named a recipient of the Heidrick & Struggles Partnership Spirit Award, the firm's most prestigious honor. In 1998, Ron moved to California where he helped open the firm's Orange County office and the southern California technology market. Ron has held various leadership positions within Heidrick & Struggles, including Associate Director of the International Technology Practice and member of the Software Practice Steering Committee.
