Sovereign also has two commingled fund-of-funds products, Sovereign New Millennium Fund, L.P., a $101 million fund, and Sovereign New Millennium Fund II, L.P., an open fund that will raise $150-200 million by its final close at the end of November 2000. The Sovereign New Millennium Funds allow affluent individual investors and small to medium-size institutional investors access to a diversified portfolio of high quality private equity investments.

Sovereign's discretionary returns are in the top tier for twenty years. We earn returns well in excess of the industry averages. Since 1980 we have earned a compound annual IRR of 24.74% for our discretionary clients. The Sovereign New Millennium Fund, L.P., with a 1997 vintage year, had a net IRR of 117.53% as of June 30, 2000.
