Boulder Ventures manages over $250 million in venture capital partnerships, making equity investments in start-up, early stage and emerging growth companies. Boulder Ventures primarily seeks opportunities in enterprise software, Internet-based business applications and services, communications infrastructure and services and life sciences tools and services. Boulder Ventures has offices in Owings Mills, Maryland and Boulder, Colorado.

Principals:

The General Partners of Boulder Ventures are Andrew Jones, Kyle Lefkoff , Jonathan Perl , and Peter Roshko. Josh Fidler and Larry Macks are Founding Partners. Collectively, the BV Partners have over 80 years of experience managing venture capital funds, and have been principal or lead investors in more than 75 companies over the past twenty years.

Mr. Lefkoff and Mr. Roshko staff the BV Colorado office. Mr. Lefkoff, a founder of BV, has invested in 50 Colorado companies in his twenty-year career as a venture capitalist. Representative IT investments include McData (sold to EMC), MicroDecisionware (sold to Sybase), Compatible Systems (sold to Cisco), and Lefthand Networks. Representative Life Science investments include Hauser Chemical Research, NeXstar Pharmaceuticals (sold to Gilead Sciences), Genomica (sold to Exelixis), Array BioPharma (Nasdaq: ARRY), and Dharmacon (sold to Fisher Scientific). Mr. Lefkoff is the Chairman of Array Biopharma and of ARCA Discovery.

Prior to becoming a GP of BV in 1998, Mr. Roshko spent ten years as a General Partner of Mohr, Davidow Ventures, one of Silicon Valley's premier early-stage technology funds. Mr. Roshko has expertise in enterprise applications, Internet-based business services, data mining and analysis, and communications infrastructure. Representative investments include Vantive (Nasdaq: VNTV; sold to PeopleSoft), Prism Solutions (Nasdaq: PRZM), Tigon Corporation (Sold to Ameritech); Albion Instruments (Sold to British Oxygen); Rally Software, ProStor Systems, Xifin, and TeraCloud.
